Bhubaneswar, April 6 -- In a decisive move to modernise technical education, the Odisha State Cabinet greenlit a massive redevelopment project for the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) in Burla. 

According to sources, the ambitious Phase-I, Package-I initiative carries a total financial outlay of Rs 929.96 crore, excluding GST and ancillary charges, marking a significant investment in the state's oldest engineering institution.
