Bhubaneswar, Sept. 30 -- The Odisha Cabinet on Tuesday approved investment proposals worth Rs 3,280.58 crore, with the projects expected to generate 10,661 employment opportunities across several districts of the state.

The proposals were cleared at a meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg. A total of 19 industrial proposals received approval during the meeting.

According to reports, the approved projects aim to promote sectors including biofuel, steel downstream, textiles and knowledge-based services.

The projects are proposed to be established across Angul, Deogarh, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur and Jharsuguda, along with Cuttack, Khordha, Koraput, Puri and Sundargarh.
