Bhubaneswar, June 8 -- The Odisha Cabinet on Monday approved 10 significant proposals spanning five departments, paving the way for major infrastructure, urban development, industrial and welfare initiatives across the state.

Among the key decisions, the Cabinet approved the tender process for the construction of a working women's hostel at the Kalibeti Industrial Estate in Khordha district. The project, estimated to cost Rs 210 crore, is expected to provide accommodation and related facilities to around 4,000 women workers employed in the industrial sector. The hostel is targeted to become operational within the next two years.
