Odisha braces for more rain; low-pressure area likely to form over Bay of Bengal
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 8 -- Odisha is currently witnessing intense rainfall across several parts of the state, with northern and western districts facing particularly severe conditions. From Kalahandi and Keonjhar to Bhubaneswar and Bolangir, heavy rainfall has affected several areas. The situation still remains a concern in regions that are yet to fully recover from earlier flooding.
Meanwhile, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal on Saturday, which could possibly trigger heavy rainfall across the state.
