Odisha braces for another scorching day as the heat index soars
Bhubaneswar, May 23 -- Odisha continued to experience oppressive weather conditions on Friday as high temperature combined with elevated humidity levels pushed up the heat index across several parts of the state, increasing discomfort for residents.
According to meteorological observations, dry and hot winds from central and north-western India have been entering Odisha continuously, contributing to the rise in temperatures. The prevailing conditions have particularly affected western districts, where temperatures have remained exceptionally high.
