Bhubaneswar, Oct. 21 -- Odisha Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president and Rajya Sabha MP Manmohan Samal strongly criticised the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday after the latter expressed support for two Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders currently in jail.

Samal questioned the BJD's stand and accused its leaders of making contradictory statements on the issue.

Reacting to Patnaik's remarks, Samal said that BJD leaders appeared confused in their thinking. He pointed out that they were making different statements on different days and asked the party to clarify whom it intended to support.
