Bhubaneswar, Oct. 23 -- Durga Puja immersion festival continued in Odisha on Friday, as decorated idols of Goddess Durga were taken in processions through different localities of Cuttack towards Debigada for immersion. Devotees gathered at the immersion site to bid farewell to the goddess with devotional music, traditional performances and celebrations.

The city resonated with the sounds of musical bands and other instruments as one procession after another made its way towards Debigada. On early Friday morning, barricades were still in place near Debigada as the crowd had not cleared from the area.
