Bhubaneswar, Sept. 12 -- Odisha has received investment proposals worth Rs 2,43,162 crore from the UAE over a three-day high-level investment campaign. These proposals are expected to create 6,18,725 employment opportunities.

The three-day investment campaign in the UAE, led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, concluded on Friday. From Abu Dhabi to Dubai, Odisha showcased its strengths and investment potential on the global industrial platform. The campaign resulted in 24 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and investment agreements.

Around 400 businesspersons and investors participated in the conference.
