Bhubaneswar, May 1 -- The special session of the OdishaAssembly continued till midnight on Thursday. During this a resolution to implement the Nari Shakti Vandan Act was passed following prolonged discussions on women's participation in Indian democracy.
The proceedings lasted for 13 hours and 45 minutes in a single day, beginning at 11 am and continuing till 12:45 am. The House witnessed detailed deliberations throughout the day, with members from both the treasury and opposition benches taking part in the discussion.
