Bhubaneswar, Sept. 25 -- The Odisha Assembly was adjourned till 4 PM on Friday after BJD and Congress legislators created an uproar over the MMDR Amendment Act, for the fourth day straight.

The Opposition protests disrupted proceedings shortly after the Question Hour began.

As soon as the Question Hour started, BJD and Congress MLAs raised slogans and displayed placards inside the House. Congress members demanded withdrawal of the amended MMDR law, while the BJD protested over the legislation and raised the issue of errors in school textbooks.
