Bhubaneswar, Sept. 8 -- OdishaGovernment on Tuesday appointed several IAS officers of the 2024 regular recruitment batch as Sub-Collectors and Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) in different districts following their return from Phase-II training.

Under the orders, the officers have also been vested with the powers of Sub-Divisional Magistrates under Section 14(4) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.

Animesh Pradhan, IAS (RR-2024), has been appointed as Sub-Collector and Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Athagarh in Cuttack district following his return from Phase-II training.
