Bhubaneswar, March 30 -- A first-year postgraduate (PG) resident from the paediatrics department of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR), Burla, allegedly attempted suicide by consuming around 30 tablets.
According to sources, the resident is currently undergoing treatment in the ICU, with her condition reported to be gradually improving. Authorities stated that the exact cause behind the incident remains unclear and would only be known after the student recovers fully and can share details.
