Bhubaneswar, Sept. 21 -- The Cyber Police on Monday arrested a man on charges of circulating obscene videos and photographs of a woman from Gajapati district. The accused has been identified as Bharat Maharana, a resident of Nuapur village in Balasore district.

According to the reports, Maharana allegedly shared the woman's obscene video and photographs, which later went viral. The incident came to the notice of the Cyber Police, following which an investigation was initiated.

Police traced the alleged involvement of Maharana and subsequently arrested him in connection with the case. He was later produced before a court, officials said.
