Bhubaneswar, June 12 -- More than 100 nurses did not appear for a certificate verification exercise conducted at Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Medical College and Hospital (PMPMCH) in Talcher in Odisha's Angul district amid an ongoing probe into alleged irregularities in staff nurse recruitment.

According to hospital authorities, 105 nurses failed to report for verification, while several of them remained absent from duty for the past few days. The development comes as authorities continue to investigate the alleged recruitment scam.
