Bhubaneswar, April 15 -- In a significant breakthrough, the Jajpur Road Police on Wednesday apprehended a notorious thief who had been eluding authorities for months. The accused, identified as Papu alias Chagulu Patra, was arrested from his residence in the Hudisahi area near Jajpur Road Police Station. 

He was wanted for multiple thefts, including at the office of a local judge, the Kalinga Nagar Additional District Magistrate's office, and Punjab National Bank, before fleeing the area.
