Bhubaneswar, March 19 -- Weather conditions across Odisha have changed under the influence of nor'wester activity, bringing relief from rising temperatures over the past three days, officials said.

Day temperatures have dipped across several parts of the state, while cloudy skies, accompanied by rain and gusty winds, have been reported from multiple districts.

Heavy rainfall was recorded in Koraput, Nuapada and Binika on Wednesday. In Koraput town, thunderstorm activity accompanied by rain continued for nearly two hours in the evening, leading to power disruption in several areas.
