Bhubaneswar, July 4 -- A young man has gone missing after being swept away by a strong current in a drain near Vani Vihar in Odisha's capital Bhubaneswar amid heavy rainfall on Saturday. Despite continuous efforts for several hours, there has been no trace of the missing youth so far.

According to reports, the incident occurred when heavy rain triggered a powerful flow of water in the drain, leading to the youth being carried away by the current. Following the incident, an intensive rescue operation has been launched by the fire services team, which has been working continuously to trace the missing person.
