Bhubaneswar, May 12 -- There is no shortage of petrol and diesel in Odisha, and sufficient fuel stocks are available both in the state and across the country, said Odisha Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Krushna Chandra Patra on Tuesday.
The Minister clarified that no fuel stations have been shut down and all petrol pumps are functioning normally. He said the government is closely monitoring the situation and no directive has been issued by the Supply Department to close any fuel outlet.
The Minister stated that people can purchase fuel as per their requirement, but appealed to citizens to use petrol and diesel in a controlled and responsible manner.
