No mercy for repeat offenders: Ganjam plans tough action, NSA on the table
Bhubaneswar, June 1 -- Ganjam district administration and police adopted a stringent strategy to curb crime. Authorities decided to invoke the National Security Act (NSA) against hardcore criminals involved in anti-social activities and those repeatedly disturbing public order.
The decision was taken at the district-level coordination committee meeting of police and magistrates held in Chhatrapur, where a detailed blueprint was prepared to strengthen law enforcement and address organised criminal activities across the district.
