Bhubaneswar, Aug. 27 -- Students of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela have secured 1,340 placement offers in the 2025-26 placement drive, with the highest annual package touching Rs 1.31 crore.

The institute recorded a 95.47% placement rate for B.Tech students, with an average Cost to Company (CTC) of Rs 15.33 lakh per annum and a median CTC of Rs 12.50 lakh.

More than 374 recruiters participated in the placement drive, with around half of them being first-time recruiters. Students also received 364 six-month internship offers, while pre-final-year students secured a record 258 summer internship offers, the highest in the institute's history.
