Bhubaneswar, Nov. 4 -- A junior engineer working with Nilgiri Notified Area Council (NAC) was found dead on Tuesday under suspicious circumstances inside his rented house in Balasore district of Odisha.

The deceased was identified as Debashish Pushti.

Pushti had joined Nilgiri NAC around three months ago after being transferred from Basudevpur Municipality in Bhadrak district. He was staying at the rented house of Manoj Kumar Das in Barisahi village under Ward No. 5 of Nilgiri NAC.

According to the reports, Pushti had attended office on Monday but did not turn up for work on Tuesday. His absence raised concern, particularly after attempts to contact him over the phone went unanswered.

Repeated calls failed to get any response from him...
