Bhubaneswar, May 3 -- The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) 2026 is being held on Sunday for admission to medical courses, with over 22 lakh candidates appearing across India. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the examination will be held at 2 PM in pen-and-paper mode.

Candidates were allowed entry to centres from 11 AM, while gates officially opened at 11:30 AM. Students were advised to enter the examination hall before 1 PM, as no entry is permitted after 1:30 PM. The exam is being conducted in 556 cities across the country and also in select foreign centres, underlining its global importance.
