Nalco, Hindalco job promise turns fraud: Odisha Police arrest youth for duping 60+ aspirants
Bhubaneswar, Sept. 3 -- Koraput Town police on Wednesday arrested a 25-year-old man for allegedly cheating more than 60 youths. He reportedly promised them jobs at Nalco's Damanjodi unit in Koraput and Hindalco's Tikiri plant in Rayagada.
The accused has been identified as Subash Muduli of Kotrambo village under Dasmantpur police limits. He allegedly posed as a Nalco employee and collected money from job seekers on the promise of securing employment, as reported by The New Indian Express.
According to complaints filed by the alleged victims, Muduli collected Rs 14,000 from Sunduru Sirika, Rs 8,000 from Landu Sirika and Rs 10,000 from Jagannath Santa. He also allegedly took Rs 5,000 from Udaya Santa, Rs 3,000 from Rajendra Mahanandia and...
