Bhubaneswar, July 4 -- A lady Inspector-in-Charge (IIC) was found dead inside her official quarters on Saturday morning in Cuttack. The deceased officer has been identified as Beauty Mohanty. She was serving as the IIC of the Chauliaganj Police Station.

According to reports, Mohanty was recently appointed to head the Chauliaganj Police Station. The situation came to light on Saturday morning when she did not open her doors. Several phone calls were made, and they went completely unanswered. The unanswered phone calls raised suspicions regarding her well-being among the staff.
