Bhubaneswar, June 6 -- Life has taken a heartbreaking turn for a family in Odisha's Bolangir district, where a mysterious illness has left a man bedridden for the past six years, pushing his family into severe financial and emotional distress.

Motilal Bhoi, a resident of Bhoramunda village under Siletpada in Goimunda Panchayat of Muribahal block, was once leading a modest but happy life with his wife, Mamita and elderly mother. After losing his father nearly a decade ago, Motilal took responsibility for the family and got married in 2016, hoping to build a better future.
