Bhubaneswar, July 10 -- The OdishaTransport Department has intensified its enforcement drive against vehicles operating without valid fitness certificates, permits and insurance, seizing more than 100 vehicles across the state over the last two days. The action is part of a statewide crackdown aimed at removing unfit vehicles from the roads and ensuring compliance with transport regulations.

The vehicles seized during the drive include buses, pickup vans, school and college vehicles, passenger buses, JCB machines and several other commercial vehicles found violating the Motor Vehicles Act. Transport officials said the inspections are being carried out at multiple locations by enforcement teams and Regional Transport Offices (RTOs).
