India, Sept. 15 -- Mumbai-style Ganesh Puja was organised in Odisha's Bhubaneswar with a 50-foot-tall idol. The pandal also had laser and firecracker shows. The puja mandap, set up by the Saheed Nagar Winner Association, also carried a message on environmental protection through its theme.

The unique theme and the large idol attracted a large number of visitors, reportedly. The mandap presented a comparison between the Earth of the past, when there was more greenery, and the present situation, highlighting the impact of cutting down trees and increasing development.
