Bhubaneswar, April 27 -- A quiet night in Mumbai's Paydhuni area turned into a devastating tragedy, as a family of four lost their lives within hours under suspected food poisoning. Authorities are now investigating the sequence of events that led to the sudden deaths, while awaiting forensic confirmation.

According to preliminary information, Abdullah Dokadia (40), his wife Nasreen (35), and their daughters Ayesha (16) and Zainab (13) had dinner at home on April 25. The family had invited relatives over, and the gathering concluded around 10:30 pm after they shared a meal that included biryani. Later that night, at around 1 am, the family reportedly consumed watermelon.
