Bhubaneswar, Aug. 5 -- A fresh controversy has erupted over alleged errors in the Class I integrated language and environment textbook, Jhulana-1, with parents and teachers expressing deep concern on Wednesday over multiple mistakes in the newly introduced learning material.

The issue has drawn attention after glaring errors were found in both the state anthem Bande Utkala Janani and the national anthem of India printed at the beginning of the book.

According to sources, the phrase 'Ghana Ghana Banabhumi' in Bande Utkala Janani has been incorrectly printed as 'Ghana Banabhumi'. Similarly, the word 'Utkala' in the National Anthem has reportedly been misspelt.
