Multi-lakh vending zones lie unused despite completion in Odisha's Cuttack
Bhubaneswar, June 28 -- Vending zones constructed at a cost of lakhs of rupees across Cuttack City remain non-functional even after their inauguration, triggering concerns over planning lapses and delays in allotment, sources said on Sunday.
Hundreds of shop units built by the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) are yet to be allotted, leaving street vendors disappointed and public money locked in idle infrastructure.
