Bhubaneswar, Oct. 12 -- More than eight people were injured in a group clash at Khandigaon village under Pipili police limits in Odisha's Puri district after a dispute over loud DJ music late at Sunday night. The incident also involved vandalism of vehicles and resulted in tension in the village.

According to reports, the trouble started when some people objected to the DJ being played at a high volume past midnight. They asked those playing the music to lower the volume, leading to an argument between the two sides.

The argument soon escalated, with people from the two groups confronting each other. The situation turned violent, and a clash broke out between them. During the incident, several vehicles were also vandalised.
