Bhubaneswar, Aug. 11 -- A fresh low-pressure area is likely to form over the north-west Bay of Bengal on Wednesday under the influence of an active cyclonic circulation. This new weather development is expected to bring rainfall across Odisha over the next few days.

The cyclonic circulation has formed over the north-west Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas and extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level. Under its influence, the weather system is likely to develop into a low-pressure area.

The Bhubaneswar Regional Meteorological Centre has issued a yellow warning for the entire state for the next 24 hours. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely in all districts except five.
