Monsoon likely to enter Odisha in 2-3 days; state set for rain-soaked Raja festival
Bhubaneswar, June 10 -- The Raja festival this year is likely to be accompanied by widespread rainfall across Odisha, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting the arrival of the southwest monsoon in the state within the next two to three days.
According to the weather department, Odisha is currently experiencing pre-monsoon showers and Kalbaisakhi (nor'wester) activity, which is expected to continue over the coming days. The advancing monsoon, coupled with ongoing thunderstorm activity, is likely to bring increased rainfall across various parts of the state during the Raja celebrations.
