Monsoon advances over Arabian Sea and BoB; weather patterns to change soon in Odisha!
Bhubaneswar, May 23 -- The southwest monsoon is steadily advancing across India, bringing relief to several regions after the intense summer heat. According to the latest updates from the India Meteorological Department, the monsoon winds have further progressed into parts of the southwestern and southeastern Arabian Sea.
Experts report that the monsoon is also making inroads into the south-western, south-eastern, and east-central Bay of Bengal. The advancing winds are expected to influence rainfall patterns in coastal and inland regions of Odisha, West Bengal, and other eastern states.
The movement of these winds is a key indicator of the onset of pre-monsoon showers and increasing cloud cover over affected areas.
