India, July 22 -- The mystery surrounding the disappearance of two commission files from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) has deepened after former IAS officer Rajesh Verma failed to appear before the Capital Police despite being served a notice in connection with the case.
According to sources, the police had directed Verma to appear at the Capital Police Station by 11 am on Wednesday for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation into the missing files. However, he did not turn up even after the stipulated time had elapsed, fueling fresh speculation over the progress of the probe.
