Miscreants loot ancient Budhakeshwar Temple in Cuttack, Rs 1.5 lakh cash and utensils stolen
Bhubaneswar, May 20 -- A case of temple theft was reported from Odisha's Cuttack district, where miscreants targeted the ancient Budhakeshwar Temple in the Niali area late on Tuesday night.
The temple, located on the banks of the Prachi River, was broken into by unidentified persons who managed to escape after carrying out the theft. The incident has triggered anger among devotees and local residents, who are demanding strict action against those involved.
