Bhubaneswar, June 13 -- Two minor brothers drowned while bathing in Bhargabi river near the Janakdeipur railway bridge under chandanpur in Puri district, Odisha on saturday morning. The incident occurred between 9:00 am and 9.30 am.

The deceased have been identified as two minor brothers from Ketaki Patana area. The elder brother was 14 years old, while the younger one was just 12. According to local sources, both drowned in the river before help could reach them.

After learning about the incident, local residents rushed to the spot and managed to retrieve the two brothers from the river. However, they could not be saved.
