Bhubaneswar, April 5 -- An 11-year-old boy died following a snakebite in Odisha's Boudh district on Saturday. Doctors declared him dead after he was rushed to the hospital by family members.

The deceased has been identified as Alok Naik, son of Dilip Naik, a resident of the same village. According to information, Alok sustained injuries after being bitten by a snake.

Following the incident, his family members immediately shifted him to Boudh Medical for treatment. However, despite efforts to provide medical assistance, doctors declared him dead at the hospital.
