Bhubaneswar, June 16 -- A minor boy was allegedly murdered on Tuesday for opposing a youth urinating near a pond embankment. The gruesome murder took place near Khajuria village under Gosaninuagaon police limits in Berhampur city of Ganjam district.

The deceased has been identified as I. Sania, a resident of the locality.

According to sources, the incident occurred in the afternoon following an argument over a youth urinating at the spot. The dispute escalated, leading to the minor's suspected murder. The 17-year-old boy was allegedly beaten to death following a dispute near the pond in Berhampur, triggering tension in the area.
