Bhubaneswar, May 1 -- Odishagovernment once again indicated progress on its proposed metro project, with Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra stating that the system will be introduced in a new form. He said the government is working on a revised plan connecting Puri, Bhubaneswar and Cuttack on Thursday.
The Minister clarified that the government remains committed to implementing the metro project and is continuing with the necessary processes.
Addressing concerns over the status of the project, Mahapatra said that the metro plan was not cancelled but was kept on hold. He emphasised that the government is not opposed to the metro and intends to move forward with its execution.
