Bhubaneswar, Oct. 11 -- A couple died under suspicious circumstances at their relatives' house in Chatarisahi village under Bisoi police station limits in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district on Saturday.

The husband died after being taken to hospital on Saturday morning, while his wife died later during treatment.

The deceased have been identified as Bhanja Sirkha, 35, and his wife, Birang Sirkha. The couple had arrived at the village on Thursday to attend a relative's post-death ritual at the woman's parental home.

According to reports, the family members had dinner together on Friday night and went to sleep. The couple were reportedly in good health until then.
