Bhubaneswar, May 13 -- Security measures were significantly intensified in the capital city as the Commissionerate Police carried out extensive patrolling, naka checking, vehicle blocking, and inspection drives across various locations on Tuesday night. A special operation was launched throughout the city to identify and take action against drunk drivers and suspicious elements.

Along with Bhubaneswar, a similar large-scale blocking and checking operation was also conducted in Puri. Police teams carried out coordinated patrolling in different parts of the pilgrim city to strengthen public safety and maintain law and order.
