Bhubaneswar, June 13 -- A massive fire reduced a musical band warehouse to ashes in Odisha's Bhadrak district late Friday night, destroying expensive musical instruments, sound systems, DG sets and other event equipment worth several crores. The incident took place at Maninathpur under Bhandaripokhari police limits.

The blaze broke out at the godown of Ajay Musical at around 10 pm. Locals noticed flames and thick smoke coming out of the warehouse and immediately alerted the Fire Services department. By the time firefighters reached the spot, the fire had already spread through a major portion of the structure.
