Bhubaneswar, June 26 -- A massive fire broke out at a private market complex on NH-26 in Odisha's Bolangir's Gandhinagar Pada early Friday morning, gutting eight shops, including an electric vehicle (EV) showroom. The blaze spread rapidly through the complex, where several shops were located adjacent to one another, leaving three shops completely destroyed.

The Fire Services Department received information about the incident in the early hours and rushed two fire tender teams to the spot. Even after several hours, firefighters continued battling the flames, while additional teams were called in to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby shops.
