Bhubaneswar, June 11 -- Ahead of a scheduled missile test at Chandipur in Odisha's Balasore district, the district administration has intensified evacuation measures in areas falling within a 3.5-kilometre radius of Launch Complex-3 (LC-3). As part of the safety protocol, all residents as well as domestic animals from the designated zone are being temporarily relocated.

The evacuation process resumed on Thursday, with the administration aiming to complete the relocation of people by afternoon. Authorities have made elaborate arrangements to ensure the safety and comfort of the affected residents during the testing period.
