Maoist dump unearthed in Odisha forest during combing operation
Bhubaneswar, July 4 -- Security forces unearthed another major Maoist dump during a combing operation in Odisha's Rayagada district on Saturday, recovering a cache of firearms, explosives, ammunition, and essential supplies believed to belong to the banned CPI (Maoist) organisation.
The operation was carried out by a joint team of the district police, District Voluntary Force (DVF), and the Special Operations Group (SOG) in the Raghubari Reserved Forest under the Ambadala police station limits. During the search, personnel located a concealed Maoist dump hidden deep inside the forest.
