Bhubaneswar, Sept. 6 -- A woman was allegedly murdered by her husband in Balarampur village under Jankoti in Odisha's Jagatsinghpur Sadar police station limits late on Saturday night. The accused has been identified as Digambar Swain.

According to reports, Digambar allegedly attacked his wife with a spear inside their house which led to her death.

He then attempted to die by suicide when villagers caught hold of him and handed him over to the police.

Upon receiving the information, police reached the spot and seized the body. Digambar has been detained, and police are questioning him in connection with the case.
