Bhubaneswar, Sept. 6 -- A woman was allegedly killed by her husband over suspicion of an extramarital affair in Sambalpur city. The incident took place on Saturday night.

At around 10 pm, the body of a woman was found in a blood-soaked condition near the boundary wall of Sen Park under Town police station limits. A blood-stained machete and two mobile phones were also found lying near the body.

After receiving information, personnel from Town police station and Dhanupali police station, along with the Sadar SDPO and Additional SP, reached the spot. Police recovered the body and launched an investigation into the incident.
