Bhubaneswar, March 30 -- In an unusual turn amid the rising trend of divorce, a 25-year-old man from UP's Basti has gone viral for marking the end of his marriage through a deeply spiritual act rather than a celebration.

According to reports, the man, who had been in a troubled marriage for nearly two years, had made a vow to a local deity seeking relief from his situation. He promised that if he was granted a divorce, he would undertake a 'dandawat yatra'.
