Bhubaneswar, May 24 -- A shocking act of violence was reported from Panikoili Square in Odisha's Jajpur district on Sunday, when a garage worker was allegedly stabbed following an altercation inside a garage. The victim, identified as Jaladhar Barik, sustained critical injuries in the attack, sparking panic among locals.

According to preliminary reports, a verbal dispute broke out between two individuals inside the garage premises. The reasons behind the disagreement are yet to be ascertained. What began as an argument soon escalated into a violent confrontation when one of the youths allegedly attacked Jaladhar with a knife in a sudden outburst of rage.
